UNOPS launched its call for proposals seeking organizations to support LIFT (Livelihoods and Food Security Fund) and ACCESS (Access to Health Fund) enhance their conflict-sensitive approaches operating in conflict-affected areas. This Call for Proposals seeks applicants for two distinct grants, one for the ACCESS Fund, and one for LIFT, each budgeted for USD 250,000. Applications are accepted until February 25, 2019, 13:00 Myanmar time.

"We want participants to gain deeper insight into how they can engage with us," said Gail Marzetti, Head of DFID in Myanmar. This joint program will ask the selected grantee to propose a coordinated approach and take advantage of any economies of scale possible for a duration of 24 months working to bring positive change in conflict-affected areas in Myanmar.

The next phase for LIFT has at its heart "leaving no one behind" in Myanmar's rural transition. With a greater focus on inclusion and social cohesion, LIFT works to provide greater support in conflict-affected areas aiming to bring displaced people into LIFT's development programmes while working with governments at all levels to impact positive change.

Except for the final date for proposal submission to LIFT/ACCESS, the dates provided above are only indicative. The Evaluation Committee may follow a quicker or a longer timeframe for the appraisal of proposals.
